Checklist for a Bangladesh visa

Passport: – Original Passport with a validity of a minimum of six months and a minimum of two blank pages for visa stamping. 

Please Note: Attach all old passports (if any).

Bangladesh Visa Application Form: Online visa application form https://www.visa.gov.bd/  to be duly filled and signed by the applicant.

Photo Specification: Two recent passport-size photographs with matt or semi-matt finish, 60%-80% face coverage, white background, and without border (Size: 35mm x 45mm). 

Please note: Photographs should not be more than three months old, scanned/ stapled, and should not be used in any of the previous visas.

Covering Letter: Covering-Letter from a company on its letterhead stating the applicant’s name, designation, passport number, and purpose & duration of the visit. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory with his name and designation and addressed to – The Visa Officer, Deputy High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mumbai.

Invitation Letter: Invitation Letter from Bangladesh host/ inviting Company on its letterhead stating the applicant’s name, designation, and purpose & duration of visit. The letter should be duly signed by the authorized signatory with his name & designation and directly faxed (022-66574327) or E-mailed (mission.mumbai@mofa.gov.bd) to the Deputy High Commission by addressing to – The Visa Officer, Deputy High Commission for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mumbai. 
Please Note: The copy of the invitation letter & invitee’s passport copy should also be submitted along with the visa application.

Proof of Occupation:- 

  1. Self-Employed: A recommendation letter of the company is required from a recognized Chamber of Commerce, Company Registration (Certificate of Incorporation), or Ownership proof.
  2. Employed: Company ID card copy of employee.
  3. Visiting Card

Applicant Financial documents:-

  1. Bank statement for 3 months with stamp and signature from the bank
  2. Applicant’s Aadhar card and pan card

  3. Rent agreement copy or any address proof if the passport address and current is out of Maharashtra.

Please Note: Deputy High Commission may ask for any additional documents.

Note: Mumbai issued passport holders are mandatory to make presence at consulate for personal submission or applicant behalf only company employee can submit the application with carry the company id card and company authority letter.

  2. Visa fees and Service charges are not refunded if your application is refused by the Consulate/ Embassy.
  3. The issuance of a visa is the whole and sole prerogative of the concerned Consulate/Embassy of the sovereign state over which we do not have any control. We merely act as a document delivery agent between the customer and the concerned
  4. Consulate/Embassy and shall in no way be responsible for any delay or refusal in the issuance of a visa by the respective Consulate / Embassy.
